FRANKLIN COUNTY EAGLE BASEBALL TO HONOR LONGTIME SUPPORTER

ROCKY MOUNT, VA – The Franklin County Eagle Baseball program will honor lifelong supporter Alvin Hall between games this afternoon with the presentation of “Alvin’s Chair” to his family before the game.

The ceremony will take place between the JV and Varsity contests. The JV will kickoff the double header at 4:30 with the varsity game set to begin following the ceremony at 6:30.

Alvin Hall was a member of the Class of 1957 who earned 12 varsity letters (4 football, 4 basketball, 4 baseball), was voted most athletic for the Class of 1957, coached Sandlot Football, Dixie Youth Baseball, Connie Mack baseball, past president of the Ferrum College Hall of Fame, helped raise funds to support the Franklin County athletic program, inducted into the Salem/Roanoke Baseball Hall of Fame.
