Cable 12 to Provide Live Local, National Election Results

REDWOOD – Cable 12 will be airing live election results on election day Tuesday. Kevin Tosh will host coverage beginning at 7 p.m on Your Neighborhood Network. Jamey Singleton will report from the field.

The local races covered will include whether or not the county should relocate the Confederate statue from the courthouse to a “location of appropriate historical significance”, which isn’t a deciding vote, but a vote that will be presented to the Board of Supervisors for consideration in their decision.

The race for U.S. Senate and 5th District House of Representatives will also be covered and updated through the night.

Due to a huge interest in the U.S. Presidential Election, Cable 12 will include Franklin County results between Trump, Biden, and Jorgensen and also include an overall Electoral College graphic at the bottom of the screen, so that viewers can also keep up with the national race.

Coverage will continue until 8 p.m., when Mountain to Lake Realty Showcase airs. Cable 12 will “squeeze back” the realty show with continued election results on the bottom of the screen through 8:30 p.m., when the realty program ends. Full live election programming will then continue from 8:30 p.m. into the night, until all local races have been decided.

If you don’t get Cable 12, we will also be streaming all of our coverage to our Facebook Page.
