Rocky Mount, Va -The Rocky Mount Street, Sidewalks & Streetlights Committee will be holding a site visit on Old Fort Road in the Oaks at Rakes Tavern neighborhood on Thursday, February 27, at 5:15 pm.

The onsite visit will be followed by a committee meeting at the Rocky Mount Municipal Building at 6:00 pm.

This onsite visit and meeting is being held to review and discuss the on street parking issue on Old Fort Road. The meeting and visit are both open to the public.

The Rocky Mount Planning Commission recommended to Town Council that Old Fort Road extension be marked as no parking due to congestion created by an abundance of on street parking.
