Casting Call Set in Rocky Mount for Movie Based on 2015 Fatal Accident

ROCKY MOUNT – A Henry County Accident that claimed the lives of Bobby and Pam Clark in 2015 and the journey of forgiveness from the victim’s family and the other two people involved in the wreck is the subject of an upcoming movie to be shot in the area later in May.

The movie is based on the book, In the Blink of an Eye: Forgiveness in Black and White, written by J.T. and Terri Lee Clark.

J.T.’s brother and his sister-in-law were killed in the accident on T.B. Stanley Highway on August 21, 2015, according to reporting by The Martinsville Bulletin. Bobby and Pam Clark were riding on motorcycles and were fined following the fatal accident. At the court date that followed in October, J.T. showed up to pay the fine for the Clarks, which the judge lowered to $5.

The book and upcoming movie tells the story about how life can change in an instant, and the life you carry-on of forgiveness and healing can follow you even after you die.

The auditions will be held at The Franklin Center in Rocky Mount at 50 Claiborne Avenue Friday, May 10 from 6 to 9 p.m. and on Saturday, May 11 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

There are several roles available for females ages 18 to 45 and males ages 18 to 60 years old. Those auditioning should bring a headshot and resume.
