ROCKY MOUNT - The Franklin County Family YMCA will be hosting a family Bingo night at its Rocky Mount location, to raise funds for all programs that benefit the community. Cash prizes will be awarded throughout the event.
The event will be held on December 8th, from 6:30- 9:30 PM. A total of 20 games will be played with a total payout of $2,500. Tickets are being sold in advance for $20 each at the YMCA. Each ticket includes chances for each game played throughout the night.
“It’s important for the YMCA to host fundraising events in order to support its mission of strengthening the community. So, the focus of this event is to create a fun family atmosphere and raise funds for the YMCA’s mission,” says Kameron Kitts Aquatics Director at the YMCA.
The bingo fundraiser is part of an effort by the aquatics team to raise money to help pay for upcoming operating costs and pool equipment upgrades. The YMCA aquatics facility is home to the YMCA Riptide swim team, the FCHS swim team, the YMCA’s 2nd grade swim program, senior water exercise, community swim lessons and much more.
