Henry Co. Sheriff's Office Arrests Man for Starting Fires in Martinsville Wal-Mart

wrightOn April 1, 2017 the Henry County Department of Public Safety and the Henry County Sheriff’s Office identified the individual who started multiple fires inside Wal-Mart located at 976 Commonwealth Blvd., Martinsville VA on March 31, 2017.

 

With the assistance of the public the individual was identified as Joshua Wayne Wright, 25, of 30 Valley High Dr., Hardy, VA. Wright entered the Wal-Mart and intentional started fires in 4 different locations causing the store to be evacuated. There were no injuries as a result of the fires.

 

Joshua Wayne Wright was arrested and charged with 4 counts of Maliciously Burn a Store House and 1 count of 3rd or Subsequent Offence Shoplifting. All charges are felonies. Wright is currently being held in the Henry County Jail without bond.
