Ferrum Man Arrested After Deputies Find Crystal Meth During Traffic Stop

crystalmethFERRUM - A traffic stop last Thursday, December 27 led to the arrest of a man investigators with the Franklin County Sheriff's Department say had crystal meth in the car he was driving. 

Bobby Perdue, 32, of Ferrum was arrested for possession of a schedule I or II substance after being stopped in the 1000 block of Brown Hill Road in Ferrum. After searching the vehicle, investigators found a plastic Ziploc bag with a crystalline substance in it. The sustance later tested positive for methamphetamine, according to Captain Phillip Young. 

Perdue has been released on $5000 bond.
