SML Regional Chamber's Rocky Mount Office Moves to the Franklin Center

ROCKY MOUNT - As of March 22nd, the Rocky Mount branch office of the Smith Mountain Lake Regional Chamber of Commerce has moved from The Depot to its new home at the Franklin Center for Advanced Learning and Enterprise, 50 Claiborne Ave. in Rocky Mount.

According to SML Chamber Executive Director Vicki Gardner, “The Franklin Center offers easy access, ample parking, and most importantly, the use of state of the art equipment. Further, it provides us a presence at a location that is abuzz with activity.”

Membership Director Laura Moritz, will occupy a partnership office located on the first floor of the Franklin Center on Thursdays, from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Additionally, the first-floor conference room at The Franklin Center is the new official location for the Chamber’s popular Franklin County Connects meetings. The purpose of these meetings is to facilitate B2B networking and promote business education. The Connects meetings take place from 9:00-10:00 a.m. on the second Wednesday of each month. They are open to Chamber members and non-members alike and no registration is required.
