Deputies Make Three More Arrests in Connection with July Robbery, Shooting in Henry

HENRY – The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office has arrested three additional men following the shooting and robbery of two men in the Henry community of Franklin County July 14.

The shooting left 20-year-old Justin Chase Prillaman of Henry dead, and James Matthew Prillaman injured in the hospital, investigators said at the time.

The three new arrests are on robbery charges. There have now been six men arrested in the shooting and robbery that happened at 4:20 a.m. in the 100 block of Salthouse Branch Road in Henry.

Sean Gabriel Schwallenburg, 21, of Hot Springs, VA, seen smiling in his mugshot, has been arrested and charged with one count of robbery of a residence and is being held without bond.

Lean Douglas Mitchell, Jr., 22, of Rocky Mount has been charged with one count of robbery of a residence and unrelated charges of grand larceny and contempt. He is being held without bond.

Austin Kerry Lane, 22, of Concord, NC has been charged with robbery of a residence and is being held without bond at the Western Virginia Regional Jail in Salem.

Lane was arrested on August 10 in Franklin County. Schwallenburg and Mitchell were arrested Tuesday in Bath County, investigators say.

The three new arrests follow the initial arrests of three men in July. Te’Sean Markee Brooks, 19, of Hardy and Qu’Shawn Tylek Manns, 20, of Rocky Mount were charged with shooting into an occupied dwelling. Brooks was also charged with malicious wounding. Treavon Rachez Taylor, 20 of Hardy was charged with robbery. Manns is being held without bond in the Western Virginia Regional Jail in Salem. Brooks and Taylor as being held without bond in the Franklin County Jail.
